Preparation and Usage:

Feeding guide 1 – 3 years
1 serving = 200 ml: 1 beaker; Amount of water: 180 ml, (6fl. oz. approx.); Number of scoops of powder: 6
6 scoops of powder added to 180 ml (6 fl. oz. approx.) water makes 200 ml (7 fl. oz. approx.) milk drink. All toddlers have different nutritional needs, but after 12 months we recommend your child has around 400 ml of milk per day. You can feed your child up to 3 servings per day depending on their individual nutritional needs. Mix 1 scoop of powder to 30 ml (approx. 1 fl. oz.) of water.

Important Feeding Information
Do not add extra powder or water to make the drinks stronger or weaker and do not press powder into scoop. Using too much or too little powder can make your toddler ill.
We recommend preparing each milk drink in individual beakers when required.
For hygienic reasons, discard unfinished feed in beaker as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours.
Made-up SMA¨ PRO Toddler Milk can be poured over cereals and mixed with food.
Never add any food to the milk in your child's beaker.
Do not warm in a microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding.
Scoop may become submerged in the powder during transit.

How to prepare your toddler's drink
Whilst this product is made under strict hygienic conditions, it is not sterile. Failure to follow instructions on preparation and storage may make your toddler ill.
1. Wash hands well. Measure 180 ml (approx. 6 fl. oz.) of boiled cooled water into a clean beaker.
2. Using the scoop provided, add 6 scoops of powder, levelling off each scoop with the back of a clean dry knife. Replace plastic lid on can.
3. Place a lid on the beaker and shake well. Cool beaker under cold running water or in a bowl or jug of cold water until lukewarm. Test temperature by shaking a few drops on to the inside of your wrist.

Cow & Gate follow-on milk is specially formulated to help meet the increased nutritional needs of infants from 6 to 12 months. This information is given as a guide only. Consult your healthcare professional if you require more advice.

How to use this pack
To open: remove tamper evidence strip & lift lid.
In the pack is a scoop and leveller to help you measure the correct amount of powder. Store your scoop in the lid between uses.
Click the lid securely shut to keep your powder fresh.

How to prepare

1 Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers’ instructions.
2 Boil 1 litre of freshly run water. Leave kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Measure the required amount of water (refer to feeding guide) into a sterilised bottle/beaker. Be careful of scalding. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3 Using the scoop provided level off the powder with the built in leveller. Do not press/heap the powder.
4 Add one scoop to every 30ml (1 fl.oz) of boiled cooled water. Never add extra scoops or anything else to your baby’s feed. Cap the bottle/beaker and shake well (for 10 seconds) to dissolve the powder. If using a bottle, remove cap and replace with a sterilised teat.
5 Cool under running tap. Check temperature of feed. Feed immediately.
For hygiene reasons, do not store made up feeds. Make up each feed as required and always discard unfinished feeds within 2 hours.
If necessary offer cooled boiled water between feeds.
Do not heat in microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding.
